Check the Calendar!

Sorry if you slipped on this banana peel, but it's only an April Fool's prank, this story that YouTube is shut down now for judging.

The story moved last night that YouTube had announced that their entire eight-year existence had been solely for the purpose of collecting videos, and now that every possible video in the world - from instructions on how to play the drum part on "Hot For Teacher" to people falling off water skis  - has been posted to the site, they have closed it and will be judging all the videos.

The story says the winner will be announced in 2023.

“We are so close to the end,” Tom Liston, communications director at YouTube, said yesterday. “Tonight at midnight, YouTube.com will no longer be accepting entries. After eight amazing years, it’s finally time to review everything that has been uploaded to our site and begin the process of selecting a winner.”

I hope you didn't fall for it.  And I hope this video wins!
