The Saturday Picture Show, October 8, 2016

From my friend Trish Mayhugh...a picture that reminds me why I love Autumn so much...because I love orange things and pumpkins and falling leaves and playoff baseball and college football!
This is the old control room at WHBQ in Memphis, which is famous for being the radio station where, on July 8, 1954, dj Dewey Phillips played 19-year-old Elvis Presley's record of "That’s All Right Mama." That made Phillips's show, "Red Hot & Blue," the first to play a record by the King.  As the record played, Elvis's parents Gladys and Vernon rushed to the Suzore theater, where E was watching a movie, and told him to go to the radio station, that Mr Phillips wanted to interview him. And that's where it all began.
There seem to be two ways of pronouncing "Arkansas," but up until now, I thought there was only one way to spell it.
You think you have it bad when you see a sea nettle in the ocean?
It's almost time for Ralphie to find his one big gift!
I had not known why bald eagles are also photographed from the side.  Now I know why.

Ladies and Gentlemen, this is the world's largest wok, and as soon as we get it heated up, we are going to make the largest order of Moo Shu Pork you ever saw!
Ladies and Gentlemen: This is Baltimore.  This is supper.  This is a crab fluff - a crabcake dipped in beer batter and deep fried - with chips and coleslaw.  This is how we roll!
