Oh Gee! It's GTA!

As witty Canadian actor Ryan Reynolds tweeted about this case: "This is the Hallmark romantic comedy I want to see for Christmas!"

Let's go to Oregon, where there was a police chase in progress that only ended when the stolen car that was being sought (for being stolen) slammed into a car being driven by a woman who had just stolen it.

So that's the setup: police chase, stolen car hits stolen car.  Only in America, eh?

It all happened when the police spotted a stolen Toyota Land Cruiser careering in downtown Newberg, according to the Newberg-Dundee police.

The N-D PD was not about to let him that car get away, so the chase was on until the driver slammed into another hot car at an intersection.

Driver #1 was identified as Randy Lee Cooper of Portland.

Mr Cooper, meet Ms Begue

As the police investigated the accident, they realized the other vehicle was reported stolen three weeks before. It was being driven by one Kristin Nicole Begue. She was found to be was also found to be under the influence.

Cooper's charges include unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, attempting to elude police, assault, and reckless driving.

Begue is down for Grand Theft Auto and Smirking In An Official Mugshot.

They say those Land Cruisers are really sturdy.

You've got to admire anyone who can look devil-may-care in a mug shot.
