This Osprey was kind enough to pose on this old tree. He is nice that way. You might call him a Grand Old Osprey.
This is a young lady's Halloween getup. She's either Steve Harvey, or Kenan Thompson playing Steve Harvey. Show me "great costume!"
Actually, I believe the squirrels added a zany touch when they gnawed on this jack-o-lantern! 
A mother kangaroo and her joey. According to a line that cracked them up in third grade, he is being punished for eating crackers in bed.
I don't know where this is, but they already have snow in early November and they have a hand cloud encircling the moon!
Someone got up early and went down under the pier at Ocean City, Maryland, to catch a beautiful sunrise.
I have to admit, the Roma tomato is sort of a second-string tomato when you're looking for a burger or sandwich topper. It's pretty good for a sauce base. But did you know it was developed here in Maryland? It's called the "Roma VF" and it was  developed by the USDA's Agricultural Research Service scientists in Beltsville, Maryland, in the 1950s as a "fusarium wilt-resistant cultivar." I was developed in the 1950s as a wilt-resistant human!

Any good real-estate salesperson would write the ad for this place: "Charming store property with attached living space, rustic and rural, name your price and go into business for yourself!"
This is an excellent doormat if you want to get rid of drop-in guests.
This is authenticated as Yogi Berra's 1947 home white jersey, autographed and all! It was recently found at a Boys' Club in Harlem and will be up for sale, the proceeds to go to the good work at the Club. And yes, friends, I have now lived long enough to have heard that the ballplayer born Lawrence Peter Berra got his nickname from the cartoon bear. No No NO!!!
