The Saturday Picture Show, October 4, 2025

One at a time, leaves are beautiful and multicolored. Put several million of them on a lawn, and that's a job to put in huge bags that the county has to send a special truck to haul away. It's all in the perspective.
Don't you just love the -ber months! They're here through New Year's morning!
You don't see this too often in Baltimore County, MD, but I guess the ATM needs to be available for all. The man is making a withdrawal and the horse is leaving a deposit.
This is just the thing for your pet donut to have a good night's sleep!
Free wallpaper for this week is some sun and bare trees.
It's time for the Aurora Borealis already! This was the lovely scene in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan the other night.
It seems to me that the Great Blue Heron is most often seen wading around ponds and swamps. It's not often that we see them on the wing, but here you go.
If you remember the lyrics to Tom T. Hall's "I Hope It Rains At My Funeral," I think of this line when I see scenes like this..."The only thing I learned in the years I worked on my daddy's farm was, 'Son, you better get them crops in when it turns cool.' "  It's harvest time!
# 395 in a series of pictures I share to show why women live longer than men.
Pick your bagel! Plain or grainy for me, please.
Post-World War II traffic jam in London! I'm looking for Andy Capp.
