You get the feeling that this Peruvian trombonist waited half of his life for the chance to amuse kids like this, and I'm pretty sure he made the most of his chance. 
I'm guessing this is the Fire Chief in LaVergne and I guess he or she likes to sneak up on fires.
 Nature saves some of its most colorful getups for macaws.
 This week's wallpaper is this Arkansas sunrise.
I am totally impressed by this library and spiral staircase at the Iowa State Capital!

I think a lot of people make the mistake of gauging their daily progress against that of others, when it all comes down to doing better than we did yesterday. That's steady progress. 
Someone had the vision to imagine turning a border rock into something much more...and then they made it happen!
 The Corner Pole wishes to say goodbye. Woody like to stay? He sure would.
Way up there in the Pistachio seating area, he's wondering if it would have been worth it to spend a couple more dollars on something closer. On the other hand, if a vendor comes by, he's all set.
