This kid was photographed in depression-era Baltimore; the picture was in black-and-white and then later colorized. My surmise is that his name was either Spike, Sluggo or Muggy.

Oh! Today is our 45th anniversary! Thank you, Peggy, for marrying a guy who, when we decided on this date in 1973 for the nuptials, thought it was a lucky harbinger to be married on Sammy Davis, Jr's birthday (his 48th.) Today, Peggy and I are still a couple of crazy honeymooners, but we lost Sammy to those damned cigarettes in 1990. He's 93 today, just not here.
