Art can be anywhere (just ask his wife!) But this is not someone's painting, nor is it petals from a pretty bouquet - it's the top view of a box of Slushy straws.
Some painter's tape and clear plastic sheets and a slider that faces the sun, and there's your homemade stained glass!
This week's fixer-upper special looks like one of those houses from a Civil War movie where the guy comes home from the war to find everyone gone and his fortune in tatters but then he finds true love with some local girl who's been hiding in the corncrib for the duration of the conflict and doesn't believe the war is over until the hero tells her of being there to see Lee surrender. And then she does too.
Doctors in New York in full PPE realized that their patients needed the human connection of seeing the face of their healer, so they found this excellent solution.
It's a rug but it's made of stones so your vacuum cleaner won't do any good!
Herman's Hermits had a hit called "This Door Swings Both Ways" on the soundtrack of their movie "Hold On!" from 1966. Well, this door swings both ways too, and if you're on the room in the left, hold on!
Another overgrown house and I don't know, if I rehabbed this place, I might want to leave this window just as it, it's so nice to see.
Hello, Roaring Twenties! We're in the new Roaring Twenties now, but no one is sitting around the soda shop sipping on a phosphate.
