Vote!

Image result for election day
An adult who lives alone should never complain about what he or she chooses to have for dinner. But that's someone living alone.

None of us really lives alone. We are all part of the huge American population,so huge that it spills over the 48 contiguous states and fills up a lot of two more distant ones. And we each get one vote every couple of years. One adult, one vote. Your vote counts just as much as that of the butcher, the baker, the candlestick maker, and if you don't vote, you don't get to complain about who got voted into office.

And the old "they're all no good anyway" excuse doesn't wash with me, either. If the names on your ballot are all severely lacking in worthiness, write in the name of someone better.

I know too many people in too many countries around the world who have no voice, no choice in who governs them. These people would give anything to be able to vote, and it says here, you should vote as much to stand up for the American Democracy as to help choose your local representatives.

Please, if you have not done so already, go vote today.
